Lloyd’s Secret To Longevity
Before his death, Norman was working even after hitting 100 years old.
Lloyd at the age of 100 shared his secret to longevity and told The Hollywood Reporter:
“I don’t eat shellfish, I drink wine moderately and have one whiskey every evening before dinner; I find it stimulates my appetite. I eat meat, poultry, and fish in proper proportion, nothing to excess.”
He further added:
“I think the word that I might apply here is ‘attitude.’ You must be active, you must be positive, even if things don’t go the way you want them to. I think if you allow yourself to mope and feel sorry for yourself, it can take years off your life.”
Lloyd Outlived His Wife By Nine Years
Norman who used to live in his Los Angeles house before his death outlived his late wife Peggy Lloyd by nine years. His then-wife of 75 years died on 30th August 2011, in Los Angeles, California. She was 98 years old at that time.
The late duo also had two children, including an actress Josie Lloyd.
